We’re on the hunt for a talented Founding Senior Software Engineer (Frontend) to build out Voice AI’s next-gen tools for developers. In this role, you’ll own the frontend architecture and help shape the company culture from the ground up.

Voice AI is on a mission to build the "Retool for Voice AI," empowering developers to integrate voice technology across various sectors. As assistants like Apple Intelligence and Google Gemini reach billions, Voice AI’s platform is designed to turn core models into production-ready voice applications. Since its March launch, Voice AI has rapidly grown revenue and secured Series A funding from a top-tier firm.
Role Overview and Responsibilities
As the Founding Senior Software Engineer (Frontend) at Voice AI, you’ll lead the design and development of the frontend Dashboard. This foundational role will allow you to shape the company’s frontend architecture and work closely with the founding team to deliver impactful user experiences.
- Develop and ship frontend features that deliver real value to customers.
- Enhance the frontend codebase for improved performance, flexibility, and maintainability.
- Collaborate with users and support teams to continuously refine the product based on feedback.
- Focus on customer delight by creating user-friendly elements and intuitive enhancements.
Core Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Full Stack or Frontend Software Engineering.
- 2+ years of experience deploying features end-to-end, from concept to production.
- Experience in a fast-growth startup environment (under 100 employees).
- Technical expertise: Proficiency with React and TypeScript.
- Previous leadership experience in a Senior, Staff, or Principal Engineer role.
- On-site commitment: Willing to work in the San Francisco office 6 days a week.
Key Milestones
- First 7 days: Ship a pre-scoped frontend feature.
- First 14 days: Improve the codebase or refactor based on user feedback.
- First 30 days: Independently ship a feature and complete a customer-centered improvement.
- First 45 days: Collaborate with the growth engineering team to launch experiments and enhancements.
